Oral Surgery and Implants

Dental Implants

Dental implants are a permanent, natural-looking solution for replacing one or more missing teeth. Each implant consists of a small titanium post that is surgically placed into the jawbone, where it fuses with the bone to create a strong and stable foundation. Once healed, the implant supports a crown, bridge, or denture, restoring function and appearance.

At our practice, we use advanced 3-D digital x-ray and imaging technology to ensure precise, expert placement of implants. This enhances both the success rate and the comfort of the procedure. Dental implants not only restore your ability to chew and speak confidently but also help preserve jawbone health by preventing the bone loss that typically follows tooth loss.

Sirona ORTHOPHOS XG 3D Imaging

We are proud to use the Sirona ORTHOPHOS XG 3D Imaging system, one of the most advanced imaging technologies in dentistry. This powerful diagnostic tool produces high-resolution, three-dimensional images of the entire oral and facial structure—including teeth, roots, bone, sinuses, and surrounding anatomy.

Unlike traditional x-rays, this technology allows us to see areas that are typically hidden from view, such as internal tooth canals and structures beneath the gums. The scan takes only seconds to complete, significantly reducing your radiation exposure while dramatically improving diagnostic accuracy.

Sirona ORTHOPHOS XG 3D + CEREC® Integration (GCI)

Our integration of CEREC® digital design with the ORTHOPHOS XG 3D system takes implant planning to the next level. This combined technology allows us to design the final restoration first and then plan implant placement around the ideal positioning of that restoration. The result is a more precise, predictable outcome.

Using this data, we can also fabricate custom surgical guides, which reduce procedure time and ensure accurate implant placement. This digital approach enhances patient safety, minimizes discomfort, and leads to faster healing and superior results.

Tooth Extractions

When a tooth is severely decayed, infected, fractured beyond repair, or causing crowding, extraction may be the best course of action to protect your oral health. We perform both simple and complex extractions with a gentle, patient-centered approach.

To help preserve the jawbone and prepare for future tooth replacement (such as with a dental implant), we often recommend bone grafting at the time of extraction. Bone grafting helps maintain the structure and integrity of your jaw and facial appearance.

Wisdom Tooth (Third Molar) Extractions

Wisdom teeth, or third molars, commonly become impacted, infected, or cause crowding when they emerge. We provide expert wisdom tooth removal using our 3-D digital imaging technology, which gives us a detailed view of tooth position and nearby nerves and structures. This allows for safer, more accurate planning and better outcomes.

We also offer sedation options to ensure a comfortable, low-stress experience for our patients undergoing wisdom tooth extractions.
